In BearPeak Village the buildings have been designed with passion and skill, and the interiors and the exteriors work in harmony with each other, and with the surrounding landscape. The overall design took inspiration from romantic American log houses and combined it with a touch of Scandinavian style.
In partnership with property developers and architects, Kontio created a unique winter concept – the BearPeak Village in Åre, Sweden. Åre is the most popular skiing centre in the Nordic countries and BearPeak Village is characterised by quality, design, balance and harmony between the house and the surrounding scenery. Our philosophy was to create something a little extra special, something that couldn’t be found anywhere else, including high quality in every single detail.
BearPeak Village consists of 12 semi-detached lodges, and one 4- apartment and one 6-apartment ski lodge. The houses have everything you need. The practical apartments have 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a spacious kitchen and a living room with a fireplace, not forgetting the balcony with great views, as well as a sauna to relax in at the end of the day. There is also a direct connection to the ski lifts and cross country tracks.
